ヘザーの花言葉

ヘザーは、ツツジ科カルーナ属の植物です。荒れ野（ヘザー）や湿原に生息します。学名のCallunaは、洗浄する、飾るという意味のギリシア語kallunoが語源です。ヴィーナスへの聖なる捧げものとされていました。古くはワイン作りにも使用されていたそうです。エリカ（ヒース）と混同されることがよくあります。
